Inficon has announced will discontinue the sale of the 3000 Micro GC on 31st December 2016. Inficon plans to provide repair service and replacement parts for five more years, until 31st December 2021. The Micro GC Fusion will replace the 3000 with expanded analytical capabilities. The PFPD is capable of selectively detecting other elements apart from sulphur and phosphorus. In fact it’s possible to detect up to 28 other elements with the correct photomultiplier and optical filter combination.
